Considered as one of the most evocative events in  Sicily, of great tourist attraction, the Infiorata of Noto is a spring festival, which involves the urban spaces of the capital city of the Sicilian Baroque, born to amaze with its urban layout and its architecture.

The event transforms some streets of the city into colorful artistic carpets made with flower petals; for the occasion, the via Corrado Nicolaci, along which the exuberant baroque balconies of the Palazzo dei Principi of Villadorata (of 1752), considered the most beautiful in the world, become a triumph of colors and aromas of great impact. The street is embellished with a 6-meter-long carpet of flowers, made up of 16 handmade sketches and decorated with flowers of all kinds, according to the theme of the year.

The manifestation includes also many side events: tastings of local specialties, exhibitions, fashion shows, music, the parade of figures, flag bearers and musicians in period costume through the streets of the historic center.

One more opportunity to be enchanted by Noto, wonderful "stone garden" - as Cesare Brandi defined it - with colorful and cheerful floral frame of spring.
